Find out how to analyze and solve simulation problems that
involve mechanical waves and vibrations by using the Acoustic Module of
COMSOL Multiphysics.
COMSOL develops easy-to-use software for modeling and simulation of
real world multiphysics systems. The Acoustics Module of COMSOL
Multiphysics solves problems in the general areas of acoustics,
acoustic-structure interaction, and vibration. Easy-to-use physics
interfaces provide the tools to model acoustic wave propagation
in air, water, and other media including damping materials. You can
also model vibrations in solids including those made from piezoelectric
materials.
This module is specifically designed for those who work in classical
acoustics with devices that produce, reduce, measure, and utilize
acoustic waves. Just a few applications areas from the audio industry
include speakers, microphones, and hearing aids, while those for noise
control can address muffler design, sound barriers, and building
acoustics.
During the workshop, you will be guided through the modeling process
of a thermo-acoustic analysis. Easy tutorials lets you set up your first
models using ready-to-use application interfaces. We will guide you
through the work flow, and within minutes, bring designs to life with
multiphysics simulations. You can ask questions and participate in
discussions on the modeling process. This is a perfect opportunity to
test and get an insight into all the possibilities the Acoustics Module
of COMSOL Multiphysics offers you.
